Fiyta

Fiyta is a Chinese watch brand founded in Shenzhen in 1987. It combines regular wristwatches with a particular history in spaceflight. Its own timeline documents a Fiyta watch on the Shenzhou V mission in 2003. In a 2023 interview, a company representative also describes developing watches for Chinese astronauts.

This space connection helps explain the brand's identity, but requires precision. A watch made for a particular mission, a space-inspired retail model and an ordinary dress watch are different objects. A space motif on a dial does not prove that the individual watch travelled into space or meets the specifications of a mission instrument.

For a second-hand Fiyta, record the exact reference, movement type, material indications and any serial numbering. Check what an accompanying box or document set actually relates to. Claims of mission use require evidence for the particular example. General brand history cannot replace checks of model, operation and condition, nor does it alone establish rarity or value.
