Formbar Glassverksted
Formbar Glassverksted is an artist-run shared workshop and studio in Haugesund, established in 2017. Its own presentation names Julie Shirani Kausland and Eirin Bjørsland Hansen as owners and practitioners. The business includes glassblowing, coldworking and sales of art and functional glass.
The artists have individual approaches to functional and sculptural work. A specific example is the Kristallo champagne glass, attributed to Julie Shirani Kausland on Formbar's own product page. Workshop and individual artist names therefore convey different levels of authorship.
Record product name, designer or maker and workshop separately. Do not attribute every object sold through a shared studio to one person. Compare documented models and retain receipts or other provenance. Examine rim, foot and surface to distinguish design from damage or later intervention.
