Frederique Constant

Frederique Constant states that the brand was created in 1988 when Aletta and Peter Stas began developing a watch collection. The first collection appeared in 1992 with Swiss movements assembled by a Geneva watchmaker. The first manufacture calibre, FC 910, followed in 2004, and a manufacture building opened in Plan les Ouates in 2006. Citizen acquired the group in 2016.

The creation of the brand, first collection, establishment of a manufacture and later ownership are separate milestones. Not every model has an in house movement. Reference, calibre, series name and documentation must be checked for each watch.
