Furlan Marri is a Geneva-based watch brand founded by Andrea Furlan and Hamad Al Marri. It launched through a Kickstarter campaign in 2021. Historical design references are important to its appearance, but the watches are modern products.
Mechaquartz and mechanical models
The range includes Mechaquartz chronographs and mechanical watches. Mechaquartz combines quartz operation with a mechanical chronograph module and should not be confused with a fully mechanical movement. As a different, specific example, the manufacturer describes Grey Sector as a three-hand watch with an automatic La Joux-Perret G100. Information about that movement applies to this model, not automatically to every watch bearing Furlan Marri on its dial.
Reference and production background
The brand's own production statement describes collaboration across several countries. A Geneva business address alone therefore does not establish the manufacturing location of every component. Record reference, collection and actual movement when buying. Look for replacement hands, damaged lugs and service information. Styling inspired by older chronographs establishes neither vintage age nor a historical Swiss mechanical movement.
