Gullhuset Odda (May Helen Bleie)
Gullhuset Odda is a jewellery shop with a workshop, established in March 2019 by master goldsmith May Helen Bleie. Its own history distinguishes this opening from the 2018 purchase of Gullhuset in Haugesund, which provided the name.
The workshop offers repairs, remodelling and new jewellery. When assessing a second-hand piece, distinguish an item made there from an older item repaired or remodelled there, and from an item simply sold through the shop.
Keep invoices, commission descriptions and photographs taken before alterations. These can help identify new and retained components. A shop name on a presentation box alone does not establish who made the entire piece of jewellery.
