Gullsmed Gullhagen
Gullsmed Gullhagen was started by Lars Gullhagen at Leira in 1904. He moved to Fagernes in 1907 and to Gjøvik in 1927, taking over an older jewellery business there. These dates describe different stages of the business history rather than a single founding event.
Bunad silver and workshop
The firm's history describes the manufacture of bunad silver and distribution through catalogues. It also has a Gjøvik workshop offering repairs, remodelling and engraving. Identification should distinguish the founder Lars Gullhagen from the business and from later workshop work.
Documenting silver and jewellery
Seek evidence for the particular model or object, such as a catalogue page, receipt or reliable workshop record. Compare workmanship and all marks. A retailer association alone does not prove in-house manufacture. Do not use company history to identify unknown initials marks, or extend a documented connection for one model to other jewellery without separate evidence.
