Habring²
Habring² is an Austrian watch brand associated with Maria Kristina and Richard Habring. The workshop's own history dates the first Habring² watch presentation to October 2004. Richard Habring's earlier independent work should be distinguished from production under this brand.
The history also records collaboration with other watch manufacturers. A watchmaker's contribution to another company's technical development does not make that company's watch a Habring². Person, executing workshop, brand and particular model are different catalogue details.
When assessing pre-owned watches, keep the reference, functions and documentation together. Do not assume every model has the same complication or movement. Historical descriptions of small production volumes are not universal edition-size certificates. Original orders, identifying numbers and service papers help identify an edition and clarify later changes.
