Hilde Betten Pedersen
Hilde Betten Pedersen is a Norwegian glass artist. In her own presentation with Norske Kunsthåndverkere she describes working with blown and cast glass, figures and sculpture, often using humour. She also explores contrasts between transparent and opaque glass, and between polished and rough surfaces.

Identification and condition
Record any title, signature, label and original place of purchase. Photograph the object from several angles so both form and surface can be studied. A figurative or humorous appearance alone is insufficient to attribute an unsigned object. Distinguish intentionally matt areas from subsequent scratches, recording chips and repairs. A reliable description should rest on documented work and surviving records, without presenting a general stylistic observation as proof of authorship.
