Huldresølv and Huldreverket

Huldreverket is a jewellery workshop on Klosterøya in Skien, Norway. Its own account states that former Huldresølv employees established it in summer 2023 after the owners decided to wind down Huldresølv. They continued the collections that Marit Lintrup Svendsen had designed for Huldresølv.

For collectors this explains the connection between the names, but does not attribute every earlier model to one designer or to the new workshop. The continuation of collections does not itself establish that the businesses were the same legal company.

For identification, consider the model, purchase date, packaging and marks together. A familiar motif can remain in use over time and cannot alone date a piece. Keep the original brand, documented designer and workshop responsible for the particular object as separate provenance details. Unidentified initials require their own investigation.
