Knot (Maker's Watch Knot)
Knot, also presented as Maker's Watch Knot, is a Japanese watch brand founded in Kichijoji, Tokyo, in 2014. Its concept centres on customising watch and strap combinations and collaboration with Japanese craftspeople. Its own account names Tochigi Leather as one partner supplying strap materials.
Record the watch and strap separately. A strap may have been changed as part of the intended customisation, so it cannot alone establish model, age or the original delivery combination. Material information about one partner's strap does not apply automatically to every Knot strap.
Knot publishes model instructions, including a CAP-38 manual. For a pre-owned watch, match the reference to the correct instructions and actual movement. Functions, rate figures and water resistance must not be generalised from one model to the entire brand. Check strap width, attachment and wear before describing a combination as complete.
