King chain (jewellery chain)

A king chain is a named style of jewellery chain used for necklaces and bracelets. It is available in different dimensions and materials. A Norwegian silversmith describes the pattern as nearly square in cross-section; the thickness of wire used in handmade examples is not the same as the width of the finished chain.
