Kredah Design
Kredah Design is a Norwegian jewellery workshop and design brand in Trondheim, run by Kjersti Rennan Dahl. Its own presentation describes work from sketch to finished piece, using sawing, soldering, hammering and polishing. Jewellery is made in small series or as individual pieces.
The range includes rings, necklaces and earrings. The workshop uses silver wire and sheet and also reworks older silver cutlery. One documented example is the Stjerne ring, described by its maker as fashioned from sugar tongs in 830 silver. This identifies the material of that model, rather than the fineness of every Kredah piece.
When assessing pre-owned jewellery, consider design and documentation together. On reworked cutlery, older decoration and marks may belong to the original material. They do not necessarily date the finished jewel or independently identify its later maker. Check materials, joints, wear and any purchase documents.
