Louis Erard
Louis Erard is a Swiss watch brand with a history dating to 1929. Its own presentation highlights mechanical watches, regulator displays and collaborations with Alain Silberstein, Vianney Halter and Konstantin Chaykin, among others. These collaborations concern particular editions and do not make their partners responsible for the brand's entire output.
A regulator display arranges the time indications differently from a conventional dial with central hour and minute hands. Check the arrangement on the actual model. The Louis Erard name does not mean every watch has this display, the same movement or the same edition size.
When buying pre-owned, document the reference and any edition designation. Compare dial, hands and case against material for the particular model. Original papers and service records help distinguish special editions from watches with a similar appearance. Design resemblance alone cannot establish a collaboration.
