Marianne Stensrud
Marianne Stensrud is a Norwegian designer with a background in display design, interiors and scenography. She designed the Klem lighting series for Magnor Glassverk. Magnor's product description states that Klem is handmade and mouth-blown in its glassworks. Stensrud is thus documented as the designer, while the glassworks is responsible for the described execution.
Klem uses rounded, organic forms inspired in part by stones shaped by nature. The series is documented in several sizes and colours. Identification should compare shape, dimensions, colour and product documentation for the particular version, rather than relying on a general photograph of the range.
For used lamps, assess the glass edges, suspension and any replacements separately. Handmade variation does not make every similar glass shade a Klem. Dating and attribution require documentation; the glassworks' founding year is not the production date of a modern lamp.
