Maud Forsblad

Maud Forsblad is a glass artist with documented activity in Norway. With Kari Ulleberg and Helena Dahlgren, she established Glasshytta at Fossekleiva in Berger in 1982. Design historian Mats Linder records that glassblowing began in February 1983, distinguishing establishment from the start of production.

Oslo Kunstforening's archive documents Forsblad's participation in Glass i dag in May 1992. This places her within independent artistic glass, but participation in an exhibition does not identify a particular vase or bowl.

For attribution, distinguish the artist, shared studio and executing glassblower where the evidence permits. Compare signatures, form, technique and provenance with documented works. The studio name or resemblance to a collaborator's work alone is insufficient to attribute an object to Forsblad.
