Monica Bakka is the Norwegian goldsmith and jewellery designer behind BAKKA jewellery. She has her own workshop in Våland, Stavanger. Her own presentation and Dyrsku’n’s exhibitor profile document both design and making, with clean forms and contrasts as recurring characteristics.
Collections shown on her website include Bare Blad and Skjell. A collection name can assist identification but cannot establish authorship on its own. The person, brand and executing workshop should be understood together without involving unrelated people named Bakka.
When assessing used examples, compare model, dimensions, materials and finish with documented pieces. Inspect clasps, joints and settings for damage. Pale metal or a gold-coloured detail does not establish fineness. Retain receipts and labels, and do not attribute an unidentified responsibility mark to Bakka without specific evidence.
