Noah Hartley
Noah Hartley is an Australian glassblower and artist with documented activity in Bergen, Norway. In 2024, S12 Gallery and Workshop presented him as both an artist in residence and studio manager. He holds a Bachelor of Design Arts in glass from the Australian National University and completed an Associate Training Program at JamFactory in 2020.
His work explores form, colour and the perception of everyday objects. The exhibition TV Dinner at S12, from 22 November to 20 December 2024, presented sculptures developed during his residency. References to colour-field painting, funk ceramics and stones relate to that context.
Identification requires a documented connection to Hartley, rather than resemblance to studio glass in general. An object made or exhibited at S12 is not automatically his work. Compare title, dimensions, exhibition records and provenance, and distinguish damage from intentional shaping.
