Norgesmedaljen 1997
Norgesmedaljen 1997 is a silver medal by Den Kongelige Mynt, designed by Ingrid Austlid Rise. It is the third issue in an annual series drawing on Norwegian art history.
Design
The ship stems are inspired by a carved wooden find from Bryggen in Bergen. The reverse shows a coin press, the mint's crossed tools and its name. The medal has no monetary denomination.
