Sara Woodrow
Sara Woodrow is a designer, artist and illustrator born in Alingsås in 1983. For Kosta Boda, she created motifs for glasses and carafes in the All About You range. Her contribution should therefore be understood as documented illustration work, not automatic evidence that she personally executed every glassmaking process.
When cataloguing, record illustrator, manufacturer and model. A motif can appear on different vessel types. Visual similarity between two decorations therefore does not establish identical dimensions, purpose or production edition.
Assess both the glass and its decoration when buying pre-owned. Look for chips, rim damage and motif wear and compare measurements with documentation for the particular model. A hand-drawn appearance alone does not prove that every example was individually hand-painted. Original labels, boxes and purchase records can help establish identification.
