Sinn

Sinn is a German watch brand associated with Frankfurt am Main. Pilot and flight instructor Helmut Sinn founded the business in 1961. Its early production focused particularly on navigation clocks and pilot chronographs. Engineer Lothar Schmidt took over its management in 1994.

The name covers several model families and technical solutions. Information about one Sinn model does not establish that another has the same case material, movement, water resistance or specialist technology.

When assessing a used watch, compare the case reference with the dial, hands, movement and documentation. Record servicing and replacement parts separately. A historic brand or familiar model name alone does not prove that an example remains in original configuration or still meets its initial technical specification.
