Toril Bonsaksen
Toril Bonsaksen is a Norwegian metal artist based on the Helgeland coast. She completed an MFA in Metal and Jewellery Art at Oslo National Academy of the Arts in 2008. Her practice includes jewellery, objects, sculpture and public art.
A specific jewellery example is the pendant Edel, documented by Norske Kunsthåndverkere in 2025 with silver-plated Physalis alkekengi, silver and a freshwater pearl. That material description applies to this work. It should not be extended to all of Bonsaksen's output.
When cataloguing, record artist, work title, material and any exhibition separately. A natural form alone cannot establish authorship. Compare photographs with documented works and retain receipts or other provenance. Investigate any mark independently before connecting it to a producer or using it as evidence of metal content.
