Trine Sundt (Stavanger Glassblåseri)

Trine Sundt is the glassblower behind Stavanger Glassblåseri, established in 2004. Norske Glasskunstnere records training at Kosta Boda in Sweden and work with glass since 1995. The profile emphasises colourful functional glass.

The workshop's own April 2011 blog documents specific processes: shaping stemware, applying spiral decoration, sandblasting and engraving. These demonstrate several production techniques without implying that every object uses all of them.

Compare decoration, shape and surfaces with documented examples when identifying a piece. Sandblasted areas may be deliberate decoration. Record chips, scratches and later alterations separately. Colourful Norwegian table glass has many possible makers; style alone does not establish Sundt's authorship. Keep purchase and exhibition records with the object.
