Venezianico (Meccaniche Veneziane)
Venezianico is an Italian watch brand with roots in a 2017 project by brothers Alberto and Alessandro Morelli. It was previously known as Meccaniche Veneziane. A contemporary newswire announcement from January 2022 records the move to the Venezianico name. The start of the venture and the name change are therefore separate events.
Two names in the pre-owned market
Both names can matter when identifying a watch. The earlier name alone is not a reason to reject an example, but the connection between the names does not authenticate every watch or loose component. Assess the reference, dial and movement information together with the supporting documents.
Specific models rather than general brand claims
Redentore and Nereide are names found in the brand’s collections. A model name can cover different versions and production periods. Check the exact reference, case material, diameter, movement and replacements. Do not transfer current collection specifications automatically to earlier models.
