Vossasylv (Jakob Rongve)

Vossasylv is the costume-silver production of the family business Vossasylv Jakob Rongve AS in Voss, Norway. Its range includes brooches, buckles, buttons and belt fittings. The name identifies a particular maker, not every piece worn with a Voss bunad.

The firm's history records Jakob Rongve starting production at home in 1976 and moving the workshop to Palmafossen in 1997. The maker identifies JR as its responsibility mark. This specific statement does not establish that every older JR punch belongs to Rongve.
