Certina DS-2 automatic vintage wristwatch

Vintage Certina DS-2 Automatic from the 1970s, with the characteristic tonneau-shaped steel case, date display and automatic mechanical movement. The model features the distinctive Certina turtle on the case back and is often referred to as the «turtleback».

The watch ticks when worn, the automatic winding works, and it can also be wound manually. The date display functions correctly. Service history is not known. The watch comes with an aftermarket Bonett strap. The case and crystal show normal wear marks and age-related signs of use.
