Certina DS Vintage Wristwatch, Early 1960s

Early Certina DS vintage wristwatch dating from around the early 1960s, featuring a classic light dial, applied indexes and dauphine hands. The watch has the characteristic so-called "turtleback" case back associated with Certina's DS concept. The movement is marked Certina 25-66.

The watch ticks and runs well when wound. Service history is not known. The case, dial and crystal show normal signs of wear and age-related patina. Strap manufacturer is not known.
