Olympus XA Rangefinder Camera with A16 Flash, ca. 1980s
Description
Olympus XA compact camera from the 1980s, manufactured in Japan and designed by Yoshihisa Maitani. This is the original model in the XA series, known for its true rangefinder function and remarkably compact size combined with high optical quality.
The camera is fitted with a fast Zuiko 35 mm f/2.8 lens and precise manual focusing via rangefinder. The electronic shutter is quiet in operation, and the model also features a built-in self-timer. This example is offered as a complete set with the A16 electronic flash, original hard case, red/brown storage pouch and original instructions, which is unusual to find together.
The camera has been battery tested, with the shutter, self-timer and flash all functioning correctly. An attractive set for collectors, photography enthusiasts, or as a well-rounded gift with classic 1980s design and functionality.
