Vintage advertising box, Skiens Margarinfabrikk Ekstra Margarin, ca. 1950-60

Decorative advertising tin in lacquered metal for Ekstra Margarin from Skiens Margarinfabrikk A/S. The tin features a distinctive design in yellow, blue and red with original printed advertising on several sides and lid. Fitted with a carrying handle and a latch at the front.

This type of packaging was used for storing and distributing margarine, and is today a sought-after collector's item within Norwegian advertising history and industrial design. The tin is also well suited as decorative storage in the home, cabin or shop setting.
