Martina Propers (Propersdesign)
Martina Propers is an Oslo-based goldsmith and jewellery designer, presented by Norske Kunsthåndverkere under Gullsmed Propersdesign. Her own website describes jewellery design for Propersdesign, bespoke work, repairs and redesign of older jewellery.
Materials and individual pieces
The website shows examples including silver earrings with amethysts and gold rings with pearls or diamonds. These details concern specific presentations. They do not establish the metal, fineness or gemstone in an unidentified piece with a similar appearance.
When jewellery has been redesigned, distinguish the original maker, the person who designed the new arrangement and the workshop that performed the alteration. Retain orders, receipts and other provenance records. A later repair or adjustment should not automatically become an attribution of the entire piece.
