Vaer
Vaer is an American watch brand founded in Venice, California, in 2016 by Ryan Torres and Reagan Cook. Its own history places the start of regular sales in 2017. Establishment and sales launch are therefore separate events.
The range includes quartz, solar-powered and automatic watches. Vaer presents both USA-assembled and Swiss Made watches. The brand name alone establishes neither movement type nor assembly country for an individual example. Solar power is not the same as mechanical automatic winding.
When buying used, compare model code, dial text, caseback and the relevant manual. Quote specifications for that particular version rather than another range. US assembly does not necessarily mean every component was made there. Assess sealing and timekeeping against the watch's actual condition and service history.
