Brit Elin Ildhusøy Havnås is the goldsmith and filigree silversmith behind Brísingamen and the Skatter fra fortiden shop. Her own presentation records qualifications in both trades. The Grimstad workshop specialises in handmade jewellery and historical reconstructions.
Historical model, modern object
The range includes arm rings, finger rings, necklaces and dress fasteners. A modern reconstruction must be distinguished from an archaeological original. Historical imagery or techniques do not make a newly produced jewel ancient.
