ELKA Watch Co.

ELKA Watch Co. is an independent Swiss watch brand launched by Hakim El Kadiri in 2022 and associated with Neuchâtel. Its design draws on the 1960s and the rounded forms of older pocket watches.

A modern brand and an older name

The ELKA name also has an earlier Dutch history associated with Eduard Louis Kiek in Amsterdam. That history must be distinguished from El Kadiri’s modern launch. A new ELKA watch with historical references is not thereby an antique Dutch timepiece. The brand presents D, S, X and N series, among others.

Technical identification

The manufacturer documents the automatic La Joux-Perret G100 movement in part of its range. Movement, dimensions and water resistance must nevertheless be checked for the particular reference. Compare dial, caseback, reference number and documents, and investigate replaced components. A logo alone cannot establish power reserve or service condition.
