Felipe Pikullik
Felipe Pikullik is the watchmaker behind a German brand of the same name associated with Berlin. His own history dates the start of formal watchmaking education in Glashütte to 2013 and the brand launch with the Prius collection to 2017. Training and brand launch are therefore separate events.
From skeletonisation to new architecture
Skeletonisation, handwork and decoration are central to the brand's history. The manufacturer describes a progression from modifying supplied base movements towards greater component production and its own movement architecture. This makes it particularly important to connect movement information with a specific model and generation.
Assessing a watch
Check model designation, calibre, complications and execution against the correct papers or a model-specific source. A newer ambition for greater manufacturing independence must not be applied retrospectively. Decoration and skeletonisation alone do not prove an entirely proprietary movement. Document servicing and alterations separately from original design.
