Goldsmith Siri Kvalfoss

Siri Kvalfoss is a Norwegian goldsmith and jewellery artist listed in Norwegian Made's producer directory. She participated in Galerie Slavik's exhibition “Lucia Massei and the Alchemists” in 2009. The gallery's presentation links the exhibitors with training at Alchimia in Florence.

It describes Kvalfoss's rings in partly transparent synthetic resin, with surfaces recalling worked ice. This is a specific example of a goldsmith's work that need not consist of gold or silver. Nor should translucent resin be catalogued as glass merely because of its appearance.

When considering a possible attribution, compare the material, form and documented exhibition or purchase history. The rings describe a documented part of her output, not every piece she has made. Check the producer name, individual maker and any retailer separately.
