Gulset (jewellery brand)

Gulset is a Norwegian jewellery brand with a workshop and showroom in Nesbru, Asker. Its own presentation states that its jewellery is made in Norway and that most work takes place in its own workshop. It also offers custom-made pieces.

Brand and workshop

The name identifies the brand and business. Retain the qualification “most” when describing production. It does not establish that every operation on every product takes place at one location.

Identifying a pre-owned piece

Record model name, dimensions, execution and legible marks. Compare with documented images of the relevant model. Separate information about the brand from evidence identifying the maker of an individual jewel. A brand name alone proves neither fineness, year of production nor a particular responsibility mark. Preserve receipts and packaging when they accompany the object.
