HISO (Hanne Selmer-Olsen)

HISO, also presented as Jewellery by HISO, is the brand of goldsmith and jewellery designer Hanne Selmer-Olsen. She states that pieces are designed and made at her own workshop in Frogner, Lillestrøm, Norway.

Natural forms and outer space provide central inspiration. The brand describes work in 925 sterling silver and 585 gold. Its presentation mentions traditional sheet and wire techniques, vitreous enamel and some cast models or components. Casting and hand fabrication can therefore occur within the same piece.
