Hoffman Watches

Hoffman Watches is an American watch brand founded by Will Hoffman in 2016. Its own history distinguishes establishment from its first public launch on Kickstarter in 2018.

Modern watches with historical references

The concept reinterprets sports watches, particularly racing chronographs of the 1960s. The manufacturer lists Racing 40, Diver 40 and Racing 40 Mechanical. Historical styling does not mean a watch was manufactured in the 1960s. Similar model names with an added qualifier may identify different versions.

Secondhand assessment

Record the complete model name and verify the movement for the specific reference. Do not assume that every Hoffman watch has the same movement type or functions. Compare dial, caseback, pushers or bezel and purchase documents. Check strap or bracelet, replacements and service records. The Hoffman name also provides no basis for attribution to other manufacturers or watchmakers with similar names.
