Lorca Watches

Lorca is a watch brand founded by New York-based recording artist Jesse Marchant. Its own history connects the idea to European travel and touring, when Marchant felt that a watch meeting his needs was missing.

Brand and models

Lorca presents mechanical Swiss Made watches with restrained styling and mid-sized cases. Its catalogue distinguishes the Model No.1 GMT from the Model No.2 Chronograph. GMT and chronograph refer to different functions. Movement, dimensions, operation and water resistance must therefore be checked for the correct model and edition.

Assessing a used watch

An American-based founder and a Swiss Made designation describe different aspects of the business and production. Compare dial, caseback, model name and papers when buying secondhand. Check functions and note replacement parts. A modern design drawing on historical styles must not be dated as vintage from its appearance alone.
