Maker

Annevera

Annevera is a Norwegian jewellery brand with its own workshop on Tjøme in Vestfold. Anne and Vera are responsible for design and production. Their own introduction states that they qualified as goldsmiths and established the workshop in 2017.

Design and materials

Organic shapes and worked surfaces are important features. In an interview published by Gullsmed Berglihn, the designers describe working mainly in silver and gilded silver, inspired by nature. The Eik collection draws on acorns, bark and leaves. Berglihn is the interview publisher and a retailer; Annevera is the brand and the producing workshop.

A specific example is the Eik ring: the maker describes it as 925 silver, with a 23-carat gold coating on the gilded version. These specifications concern this model and cannot establish the material of every similar-looking piece. Gilded silver must not be described as solid gold.

What to check when buying second-hand

Compare the model, dimensions and material with the maker's documentation. Keep receipts and packaging as part of the item's ownership history. A natural motif or irregular surface alone does not establish who made a piece. Record marks, wear and alterations in a condition report.

Next step: For jewellery you are considering selling, see OBA's buying and selling information. Supply clear photographs and any documentation you have.
