NAMICA Watches
NAMICA is an independent watch brand with designs inspired by Japanese culture, nature and cyberpunk. Its own presentation identifies SHIRAHAMA as its first collection and OKAMI as a later model family. These names refer to different series and should not be treated as identical watches.
A specific model example
The documented OKAMI: NEO TOKYO has an automatic Miyota 9039 movement, a grade 2 titanium case and sapphire crystal. Its product page describes a fixed bezel and purple fumé dial. These specifications concern this model, not every NAMICA watch.
The manufacturer's OKAMI manual describes a screw-down crown and automatic winding through wrist movement. It also warns that the scratch-resistant coating can still be scratched. “Scratch-resistant” therefore does not mean a case or bracelet cannot acquire marks.
Assessing a used watch
Record model, variant, case finish and accompanying components. Compare them with the correct model manual; one series name may cover different versions. Practical example: document whether the watch has its original rubber strap or a later bracelet, without assuming that an accessory formed part of the original delivery.
Describe running condition, visible damage and known servicing in a condition report. A factory specification alone does not establish a used example's condition.
